Since 1974, the Auto Show has fashioned an extravagant stage for the auto industry to display its finest-and for the car-buying public to experience a stunning presentation of what's new and what's next. In the passing years, the Canadian International Auto Show has become one of the most significant events on the worldwide Show circuit, placing among elite platforms such as Paris, Detroit and Tokyo. The theme for 2006 was a major statement. It recognized that automobiles are tied to human experiences. What's more, it's a commitment to provide each and every attendee with the opportunity to re-connect with the automotive experience that means the most to them. This began with sheer size. The Show encompasses over 850,000 square feet in the North & South Metro Toronto Convention Centre and Rogers Centre. Over 1,000 new cars and trucks are on display featuring many Canadian premieres. Features such as the Classics Collection and Sport Compact Revolution are teamed with NASCAR to create a unique show unlike any other in North America that will continue to grow strong for the up and coming 2007 Canadian Auto Show
