The Geneva Motor Show doesn't have the most debuts or the biggest attendance, but year after year it always manages to draw plenty of interest from nearly every major auto manufacturer. The Geneva auto show also attracts a large number of European automotive designers that platform their latest designs in Geneva's quaint show room floors. An interesting assembly of both production and concept vehicles from all around the world is a gaurantee in Geneva Motor Show. With this it has earned the title of "a nice little show" because of the casual atmosphere and easy to view exibition. Having only two levels of displays in one giant hall makes it easier to see just about everything on the show floor in one easy lap. Most of the major manufacturers have the kind of large displays you would expect, but the Geneva auto show floor also includes smaller stands where designers and specialty builders show off outlandish concepts that you're not likely to find in most auto shows or on many roads.
Since its start in 1905, the frequency and sturdy foundation of the Geneva auto show has made it a popular place for significant world premieres. Jaguar in particular has brought out some of its most famous sellers at past Genovian auto shows. In 1951 it showed off the XK120 coupe, followed 10 years later by the now legendary E-Type. As well a premier the Lamborghini Countach (1971) that drew the stares throughout the whole event in Geneva. Another 10 years on and it was the Audi quattro (1980) making its world debut, followed a year later by the Volkswagen's Scirocco coupe (1981). Without the dominance of a hometown brand, Geneva often attracts an enormous variety of production and concept cars for Show goers to view. The 2008 Audi A5 Cabriolet , the 08’ Jaguar S-Type and the 2008/9 Mercedes-Benz W212, E-Class are all scheduled to make their appearances at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show
